Wine description

Introducing Diodoro, the ultimate expression of Primitivo di Manduria DOC. Made from 100% Primitivo grapes carefully selected from the finest vineyards within the Manduria PDO area, this wine is a true testament to the art of winemaking.

Diodoro undergoes a meticulous vinification process, starting with the crushing and destemming of the grapes, followed by maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 22-26°C for 10-15 days. The result is a deep red wine with an ample and multifaceted bouquet, featuring marked hints of ripe red fruits like cherries and prunes, with spicy notes of cinnamon.

After fermentation, the wine is aged in French and American barriques and tonneaux for 6-12 months, which gives it a warm and enveloping taste that is full-bodied with a persistent and intense finale. The recommended serving temperature for Diodoro is 16-18°C.

With a moderate alcohol content of 14.5%, total acidity of 5.9 g/lt, and residual sugar of 4.5 g/lt, DIODORO is the perfect choice for any occasion. Whether you’re savoring it on its own or pairing it with a hearty meal, this wine is sure to impress.

Treat yourself to the bold and complex flavors of Diodoro. It’s a wine that captures the essence of Primitivo di Manduria, and it’s ready to be enjoyed now or cellared for later.
