Wine description
Ca’ De’ Rocchi’s Custoza DOP is a fantastic white wine produced from carefully selected grapes grown in the Custoza area. This wine is a blend of 40% Garganega, 30% Cortese, 15% Trebbiano Toscano, 10% Trebbianello, and 5% Chardonnay, resulting in a truly unique and delicious flavor profile.
After the grapes are destemmed and crushed, they undergo a soft pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14-16°C. This process helps to preserve the wine’s fruity aroma, which is intense and fragrant. The wine is then matured in steel to preserve its freshness and aromas.
The Ca’ De’ Rocchi Custoza has a beautiful straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. On the palate, it is intense and harmonious, with excellent flavor. It is best served chilled at a temperature of 8°C to bring out the full range of its flavors.
With an alcohol content of 12.5%, total acidity of 5.85 g/lt, and residual sugar of 4.6 g/lt, this wine is well-balanced and suitable for pairing with various dishes. It has received 92 points from wine critic Luca Maroni, indicating its exceptional quality.
In summary, Ca’ De’ Rocchi’s Custoza DOP is an outstanding white wine that offers a perfect balance of flavor, aroma, and texture. It is a must-try for wine lovers looking for a unique and delicious experience.
