Wine description

In the hills surrounding Gavi, in a unique microclimate with the Ligurian Sea just a few kilometers to the south and the Apennines to the west, a beautiful wine is produced: Gavi DOCG. This wine is made from the cortese grape and all vineyards are located within the area that has received DOCG certification.

The grapes are hand-picked, so only the best and ripest bunches are selected. The vinification of Gavi DOCG is a process that requires great care and attention. After a gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius. Then the wine ages for at least 3 months in these tanks before being bottled.

The result is a wine with a beautiful straw yellow color and greenish hues. The aroma is fresh and fruity, with notes of green apple, apricot, and white flowers. Upon tasting, the wine’s good acidity and pleasant salty finish stand out. The flavor is delicious and fragrant, making Gavi DOCG ideal as an aperitif and with fish dishes.

Gavi DOCG is a wine that fits any occasion, whether you plan to enjoy a beautiful summer evening on the terrace or a lavish dinner with friends and family. It is a wine that takes you on a journey through the beautiful hills of Gavi, where the sea breeze and sunlight let the grapes grow to perfection. Come and discover the beauty of Gavi DOCG and let yourself be enchanted by its taste and aromas.
